Dr. Iraj Nejat
has been in private practice of Pediatrics since 1976. He has served
as Vice-Chairman, Chairman, and House physician in various hospitals
of New Jersey (St. Claire Hospital in Denville, Riverside Hospital
in Boonton, and Marlboro Hospital in Marlboro, respectively). In
addition, Dr. Nejat has also served as Chairman and Medical
Director, and as House Physician and Surgeon at Massoudi Children’s
Hospital and N.I.O.C. Hospital in Iran. Currently, Dr. Iraj Nejat
is affiliated with Northwest Covenant Medical Center in Denville, NJ
and Morristown Memorial Hospital in Morristown, NJ.
His
residency in pediatrics was completed at Johns Hopkins Hospital,
Baltimore City Hospital, and Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore,
Maryland. His Pediatric Nephrology fellowship was performed at the
Lexington University Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. Dr. Nejat is
Board Certified in pediatrics and has received a prestigious
Physician Recognition Award, presented by AMA and New Jersey Medical
Society. Dr. Nejat is currently a member of the New Jersey Medical
Society and Morris County Medical Society.
Dr. Nejat
has conducted research in the field of Pediatric Nephrology, he
studied Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome and Complications in Children, and
his work has been published in scientific journals.
